I am a first year education student, however I am older than most the students in my class (and some of the teachers) I have had many years of carring for other peoples children and working with children and families of all different back grounds. I have seen the eyes of a small child glow with love when I took the time to show him how to do a simple task most of us take for granted. I have felt the warmth of love from a little girl who was not use to being held and told "I love you" and the unlemitd trust of a child that came from an abusive home that did not foster trust and security. In a short paragraph I have just told you a small part of my expereance as a care giver, yet the children I speek of have no race, color, or other description to them. They were all from different homes and different backgrounds, but to me they were just children who needed love and a little helpping hand in life. If more people in the educational instatue would look in the eyes of a child, no matter the age, color of skin, or relegouse beleif and just see a child looking back. there would be less need to lable any amarican as African Amarican, Jewish Amarican, or that little oriental person. We would all be truly be equal in every way! What a beautifull day that will be.
